36-hour Safety and Health Committee/Team Leader Program
Course Outline
Requirements
This program is designed to help you effectively lead your safety committee or safety team. Required Courses: 7 (36 hours)
1. 700 Introduction to Safety Management - 6 hours
2. 701 Effective Safety Committee Operations - 6 hours
3. 702 Effective Accident Investigation - 6 hours
4. 704 Hazard Analysis and Control - 5 hours
5. 707 Effective OSH Committee Meetings- 5 hours
6. 711 Introduction to Ergonomics - 4 hours
7. 717 Emergency Action Plans - 4 hours
Required Final Exam
The AT must administer a written multiple-choice exam using one of the following options:
1. Administer a 20-question exam after each individual course, or
2. Administer a 35-question exam after completing all required courses for the program
The AT should hold a post-exam discussion to review each question and answer after all students have completed their exam. Students must achieve a 70% score to pass the exam.
