192-hour Oil and Gas HS Manager Program Requirements
Course Outline
This program is designed for current or potential OSH managers or directors in the oil and gas industry who are responsible for establishing or managing their organization's safety and health program. Emphasis is placed on gaining the knowledge and skills needed to design, develop, and deploy a world-class safety management system, and tailoring and applying that knowledge to the oil and gas industry.

4. 703 Introduction to OSH Training – 3 hours

6. 705 Hazard Communication Program – 6 hours
7. 706 Conducting a Job Hazard Analysis – 6 hours
8. 708 OSHA Recordkeeping Basics– 5 hours
9. 712 Safety Supervision and Leadership – 6 hours
10. 713 Confined Space Program – 7 hours
11. 714 Fall Protection Program – 7 hours
12. 716 Safety Management System Evaluation – 3 hours
13. 717 Emergency Action Plans – 4 hours
14. 718 Fire Prevention Plans – 6 hours

Required Final Exam
The AT must administer a written multiple-choice exam using one of the following options:
1. Administer a 20-question exam after each individual course, or
2. Administer a 160-question exam after completing all required courses for the program
The AT should hold a post-exam discussion to review each question and answer after all students have completed their exam. Students must achieve a 70% score to pass the exam
