10-hour Employee Occupational Safety and Health Program
Course Outline
Requirements
This program is designed to help you meet various local safety committee or team training
requirements.
Required Courses: 3 (32 hours)
1. 600 Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health - 4 hours
2. 601 Essentials of Occupational Safety and Health - 4 hours
3. 655 Bloodborne Pathogens in the Workplace - 2 hours
Required Final Exam
The Authorized Trainer must administer a written multiple-choice exam using one of the following
options:
1. Administer a 10-question exam after each individual course, or
2. Administer a 20-question exam after completing all required courses for the program
The AT should hold a post-exam discussion to review each question and answer after all students
have completed their exam. Students must achieve a 70% score to pass the exam.
